New video: Being A Good Person Is Not That Difficult

Being A Good Person Is Not That Difficult
In this video, I explore the complexities of human psychology surrounding the concept of goodness and the weight of collective guilt we carry. I discuss how societal perceptions and historical narratives shape our understanding of what it means to be a good person. By examining philosophical ideas—from the myth of Prometheus to our modern-day challenges—I encourage us to reevaluate how we approach kindness in our daily lives. Ultimately, I argue that being good doesn’t require grand gestures but can be achieved through small, meaningful acts that positively impact those around us.

Hey! My name is Erik Thor. I’m a Swedish Coach and aspiring author. I study personality psychology and personal development under giants like Carl Jung, Alfred Adler, Abraham Maslow, and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. Are you maybe an INFP, ENFP, INFJ, or ESFP? Are you interested in the MBTI? Then you’ve come to the right place. What’s unique about my channel?

Here, you can learn about your personality without needing to classify yourself or fit into a category. Your goal is to individuate and find your unique journey, not become attached to a persona, social group, or stereotype. Yeah, that’s right, I will teach you to stop identifying with your personality type and instead use personality type classifications to empower yourself and push your personal growth.

You can learn about specific personality traits beyond the 16 personalities and classic systems here. I use the Polymathematics approach, which adds 24 new unique traits and 16 intelligences that describe measurable, quantifiable traits we can observe easily in ourselves and others. I developed my system with inspiration from Jung, the MBTI, The Big Five, and the Enneagram.

The traits are resilience, Responsibility, Assertiveness, Adaptability, Sensitivity, Modesty, Playfulness, Independence, and Teamwork. They are also curiosity, Empathy, Optimism, Attention, Imagination, Ambition, Structure, and Skepticism. These can be grouped into eight categories, Introverted and Extroverted traits, Intellectual and Practical traits, Emotional and Creative traits, and Professional and Recreational traits.

My system is highly practical and can be used in coaching to help you achieve greater success at work, in relationships, and in your personal goals and hobbies. Do you want to better understand yourself? Take my personality test, get my personal report, get coaching, or take my online course.
